Felipe Trevizan Martins admits his move to German side Hannover 96 is a 'dream come true.'
The Bundesliga club swooped for the defender as a replacement for former Middlesbrough man Emanuel Pogatetz, who joined rivals Wolfsburg recently.
The Brazilian, known simply as Felipe, signed a four-year contract with the club after they agreed a £1.6m deal with Belgian outfit Standard Liege.
"My dream is coming true," Felipe told the club's official website. "I always wanted to come to the Bundesliga and I am very proud to be part of a big club like Hannover.
"I am hoping to be successful with this club from now."
Hannover general manager Jorg Schmadtke added: "International experience has been a key attribute in our search for a new central defender.
"I am confident Felipe will play a major part for Hannover 96 in our campaign in Bundesliga 1 as well as in the Europa League."
