Leverkusen striker to move on 18-month loan in January

Kaiserslautern have agreed a deal to sign Bayer Leverkusen striker Nicolai Jorgensen on an 18-month loan. Jorgensen joined Leverkusen on a five-year contract from Danish side AB in 2010, but has yet to establish himself at the club. He has made 10 Bundesliga appearances and featured twice in the UEFA Champions League in addition to winning two caps for Denmark. The 20-year-old will initially move to Kaiserslautern for the second half of this season and there is no option to buy in the arrangement. Kaiserslautern coach Marco Kurz told the club's official website: "Nicolai Jorgensen is a young and hungry player. "He knows the league and we are confident that he brings qualities that will help us." Kurz's side head into the weekend in 16th place in the standings and visit champions Borussia Dortmund on Sunday.
