Wolfsburg's new midfielder, Christian Trasch, is aiming to reel in the Bundesliga's big guns after signing from Stuttgart.
The 23-year-old has signed a four-year contract at the Volkswagen Arena and has immediately settled into training with his new team-mates.
Trasch has seven international caps for Germany and is determined for Wolfsburg to figure prominently for honours this year after manager Felix Magath sold him the vision of the club.
"Felix Magath has ambitious goals and I want to be a part of that," he told the club's official website.
"I hope we can challenge the teams above us in the league. Wolfsburg have a very good team with some strong individual players."
Magath was thrilled to acquire the all-round midfielder, who he hopes will add another dimension to the Wolfsburg engine room.
"I am delighted to have the chance to work with a player like Christian Trasch. He is a strong-running player, who has defensive and offensive qualities.
"Christian is currently one of the best German players in his position."
