Kaiserslautern are set to raid Hapoel Tel-Aviv for a second time this summer by signing striker Itay Shechter.
The Bundesliga outfit have already moved for midfielder Gil Vermouth and his Israeli compatriot is set to follow.
An undisclosed fee has been agreed for Shechter and the forward, who has scored 46 goals in 144 top-flight matches in his career, is expected to sign a four-year contract.
Kaiserslautern general manager Stefan Kuntz told his club's official website: "Itay Shechter has been our top target for the position of striker.
"He has valuable first-team experience and valuable experience in international competitions. We are also sure he is a nice person.
"We are extremely delighted the long-term negotiations with Hapoel Tel Aviv have finally worked out an agreement."
