Bundesliga champions Borussia Dortmund have rubbished speculation that they are ready to part company with Brazilian defender Felipe Santana this summer.
General manager Michael Zorc has denied the player will be shipped out of Signal-Iduna-Park after failing to become a significant part of manager Jurgen Klopp's plans.
Santana, 25, has been linked with Stuttgart and Bayer Leverkusen, but he is contracted until June 2013.
Zorc told Ruhr Nachrichten newspaper: "We do not have any intention to let Felipe Santana leave our club.
"We trust Felipe, he is a part of our plans for the future. We are unable to afford to let a player of his qualities leave our club.
"We are unaware if there are clubs keen on him. He is under contract with our club."
Santana is a backup to Dortmund's regular centre-backs Mats Hummels and Neven Subotic.
