Mainz have had a bid accepted for Lillestrom striker Anthony Ujah which is reported to be worth €3million (£2.7m).
The Nigerian is now due to undergo a medical and agree personal terms before the move to Thomas Tuchel's Bundesliga outfit is complete.
Ujah was understood to also be a target of Copenhagen, but he is said to have been in Germany since the weekend and has decided against staying in Scandinavia.
"I am happy that the clubs finally have agreed and look forward to a successful medical check. Thanks for all good luck wishes," Ujah wrote on his twitter profile on Monday.
He also told LSK.no: "I have visited the town, been at their stadium and spoke to the manager. He has told me what he expects from me and I am very happy that we share the same ambitions."
Ujah joined Lillestrom before the 2010/11 season and has scored 27 goals in 36 appearances. He has also scored three goals in six cup games.
