Promoted FC Augsburg have completed the signing of striker Sascha Molders from second-tier FSV Frankfurt.

Molders, one of the most successful forwards in the Bundesliga 2 last season, has moved for a reported fee of £100,000.

The former Duisburg player has the previous experience of 11 matches in the German top-flight and he is now looking forward to a return.

Having signed his two-year contract, Molders told Augsburg's official website: "I am very happy that my transfer to FC Augsburg has been completed.

"I am extremely flattered by the chance to feature in the top division next season and I am also eager to help the club avoid relegation."

Augsburg general manager Andreas Rettig said: "We are happy to have signed Sascha Molders.

"He perfectly fits our profile. We had one role left in our squad, and Sascha Molders will be fill the space perfectly."
