Stuttgart striker Sven Schipplock has decided to move on and join another club at the end of the season.
Schipplock wants more first-team football at a higher level and claims Hoffenheim and Nurnberg have shown interest.
The 22-year-old, whose contract expires in June, is competing with Shinji Okazaki, Martin Harnik, Pavel Pogrebniak and Cacau for a place in the team and thinks he has his work cut out.
He told
Stuttgarter Zeitung newspaper: "I like being at Stuttgart and I really would have loved to stay.
"But I honestly think staying on would mean tough times ahead for me as I do not have the feeling I would grab much first-team action."
Decision
Schipplock added: "It is a fact that clubs like Hoffenheim and Nurnberg have an interest in my services. I am going to make a decision in the next three weeks."
In contrast, Germany Under 21 international goalkeeper Sven Ulreich plans to remain a Stuttgart player even if the club are relegated from the Bundesliga.
Ulreich told
Sudwestdeutscher Rundfunk media: "First, I do not think this (relegation) will be decisive as I am still absolutely convinced we are going to remain in the league.
"But even if we do go down, I do not have any different plans. I am staying on at Stuttgart."
Stuttgart sit 13th in the table and four points away from the bottom three, but they will be fighting against the drop without midfielder Timo Gebhart due to an ankle operation.
