League leaders Borussia Dortmund endured a frustrating afternoon in the Bundesliga as a last-minute goal from Jan Moravek saw them held to a 1-1 draw by Kaiserslautern.
Sven Bender's strike eight minutes from time looked to have earned the league leaders their 17th win of the season, but the game began to unravel five minutes later when they lost Neven Subotic to a second yellow card.
And Kaiserslautern made their man advantage count with Moravek hitting the equaliser in the dying seconds.
Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich both won their games as they struggle to keep on the coattails of leaders Dortmund.
Simon Rolfes and Renato Augusto both netted in the first-half, while substitute Hanno Balitsch also scored to give Leverkusen the win over Frankfurt.
Bayern's big guns seem to be returning to form as Mario Gomez and Thomas Muller had them two goals up within a quarter of an hour at home to Hoffenheim.
Arjen Robben also notched a second half brace to move them up to fifth.
Schalke produced a surprise win over SC Freiburg courtesy of a goal from Jefferson Farfan early in the second-half
Stuttgart stayed in the bottom three after they were beaten 4-1 at home by FC Nuremberg.
Timmy Simons and Julian Schieber scored in the first-half for the visitors before Patrick Funk netted on the stroke of half-time for Nuremburg.
However, further goals after the interval from Jens Hegeler and Mehmet Ekici sealed the win.
Meanwhile, FC St Pauli came from behind to beat bottom club Borussia Monchengladbach.
Igor de Camargo opened up the scoring for the bottom club but was sent-off 12 minutes later for serious foul play.
But goals from Max Kruse, Gerald Asamoah and Matthias Lehmann completed the comeback.
Elsewhere, Wolfsburg's poor run of form continued as they were beaten by a solitary goal as Mladen Petric netted a first-half winner for Hamburg.
