Borussia Monchengladbach defender Christian Dorda has suffered further heartache after being ruled out the remainder of the season.
The defender is yet to make an appearance this term having suffered with a string of niggling injuries but was hoping to have an impact in the second half of the campaign.
However those plans came crashing down when the 21-year-old tore tendons in his knee during Monchengladbach's winter training camp in Spain.
Dorda flew back to Germany on Sunday and has already undergone surgery on the knee.
The youngster made seven appearances last season after making his debut in October 2008 but has now been ruled out for six months.
