Turkey international Hamit Altintop will not be leaving Bayern Munich in January, according to his agent Reza Fezeli.
Rumours in the Turkish press had linked the midfielder with a £4.5million move to Galatasaray, with fellow Turkish giants Fenerbahce also reported to be interested.
But Fezeli stated that his client is not bound for Istanbul, insisting that the German-born 26-year-old will be staying at the Allianz Arena.
"This story has no basis in fact. Hamit is a player of Bayern Munich and has a contract with the club. We are not going to be any part of such rumours," he told Sport-Bild.
Altintop, who joined Bayern from Schalke two years ago, has struggled for playing time under manager Louis van Gaal.
