Marcus Berg's agent remains optimistic the Groningen striker will seal a move to Hamburg.
Reports have claimed Berg is likely to secure a big-money transfer this summer after he shone for Sweden during the European Under 21 Championship.
Bundesliga side Hamburg have been mooted as favourites to land the forward's signature and Berg's agent, Martin Klette, is hopeful a transfer will soon be completed.
Klette told Fotbollskanalen: "When you are talking about these levels things take time. There is quite a lot of money involved.
"We will continue until something is sealed."
Groningen chairman Hans Nijland added to Aftonbladet: "I have no information other than that the deal is alive."
