Reported Hamburg target Rasmus Bengtsson has revealed he is ready for the challenge of playing abroad.
The Trelleborgs defender has been linked with a move to the AOL Arena after impressing with Sweden at this summer's Under 21 European Championship.
Hamburg, who have also been linked with Sweden U21 star Marcus Berg, are thought to be close to securing Bengtsson's signature.
The centre-back is ready to move to a foreign league, but is remaining tight-lipped regarding his possible destination.
He told Expressen when asked about his future: "I don't want to comment on that since I have an agent who takes care of all that.
"My goal is to play in a league abroad and I feel that I am ready for the next step."
