Schalke admit Manuel Neuer could be sold if Bayern Munich make a 'crazy offer' for the highly-rated goalkeeper.
Neuer, who is currently with the Germany squad in Sweden at the European U21 Championship, has been strongly linked with a move to Bayern.
The Bavarian giants saw an offer for the 23-year-old rejected recently and appeared to have ended their interest in prising the keeper away from Schalke.
However, Clemens Tonnies - the chairman of the board at Schalke - says a massive bid from Bayern could persuade the club to sell.
"Financially there is always an absolute limit," Tonnies told Munich-based newspaper tz.
"Although at Schalke our bar is set very high, selling the player remains a possibility if an offer drops in that is beyond such an absolute limit.
"If Bayern wants to submit a crazy offer, every businessman would consider agreeing to that transfer."
Tonnies, though, insists new coach Felix Magath will have the final say, adding: "In the end, nothing would be done without Felix Magath."
