FC Twente have agreed a deal that will see defender Edson Braafheid move to German giants Bayern Munich. The left-back, whose contract with the Dutch club had one year to run, is due to sign a four-year deal with the Bundesliga outfit. Bayern have agreed a reported 2.5million euros (£2.15million) fee for the Holland international and he will now link up with new boss Louis van Gaal. Twente chairman Joop Munsterman admitted they could not stand in Braafheid's way which such a dream move on offer. Munsterman told the club's official website: "It's very special when a player of FC Twente makes a transfer to such a big foreign club. "If I could wish it for any player, it was Edson. He was also very positive and has developed himself into a Dutch national team player. "From the beginning it was clear he could choose to play for FC Twente or a big foreign team. It is Bayern Munich and we wish him all the luck."
