Danijel Ljuboja is unlikely to play for Stuttgart again after being suspended for the remainder of the season.
The Serbian forward, who is no stranger to controversy, has been demoted to the Bundesliga outfit's reserve side on disciplinary grounds.
Stuttgart refused to divulge what disciplinary infraction Ljuboja had made, although it is the second time he has crossed the line recently.
As Ljuboja has just six months left on his current contract his Stuttgart career looks to be all but over, although coach Markus Babbel has hinted there is a small chance he could be restored between now and the summer.
"I do not want to humiliate Ljuboja," Babbel told Stuttgarter Zeitung. "But something's happened that I cannot accept.
"If everything is back to normal, he could return to first-team training, but we will have to see."
