Defender completes permanent switch
Mats Hummels has officially joined Borussia Dortmund on a permanent basis from Bayern Munich.
The defender has been on loan at Dortmund since January 2008 but will put pen to paper on a full-time deal prior to Sunday's clash between his present and former employers.
Hummels was highly-rated at Allianz Arena but with a number of international standard players ahead of him in the pecking order it was decided that his future was best served elsewhere.
The 20-year-old made 26 appearances during his loan spell at Signal Iduna Park and will sign a four-year contract with the club this weekend.
"The transfer fee will be around 4million euros (£3.5m)," said Bayern's general manager Uli Hoeness.
Hummels will not take part in Sunday's game because of an ankle injury.
