Norwegian defender hoping to earn English switch

Tore Reginiussen believes his recent trial at Premier League outfit Blackburn was a success. The Norway international must now wait to discover whether Paul Ince's side wish to follow up their interest in his services. The 22-year-old defender is currently on the books of Tromso but has made no secret of his desire to secure a move to England. "I have received much praise and I believe that I have shown my qualities," Reginiussen told Nettavisen. "It has gone really well in training. We are set to have talks to decide what to do next."

Pressure

The youngster also admits to being impressed by the set-up at Rovers, and believes he would thrive if given an opportunity to prove himself at Ewood Park. "It's a very nice group and I was made to feel welcome," he added. "It also suits me that it is not a tremendously big club, the pressure is less. "Despite their recent results there is a good atmosphere within the squad. "They have had luck go against them and they are just waiting for a change in fortunes."
