Bundesliga leaders Hoffenheim have secured the services of playmaker Sejad Salihovic for a further three years.
The 23-year-old Bosnian dead-ball specialist put pen-to-paper on the new deal on Tuesday which will keep him at the club until 2012.
Salihovic had reportedly been a target for Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund and his former club Hertha Berlin, but insists he is extremely happy where he is.
"I have every opportunity to continue to develop here," he told the club's official website.
"I am happy that the club have shown confidence in me and I am looking forward to continuing to wear the Hoffenheim shirt."
Hoffenheim general manager Jan Schindelmeiser also expressed his delight at the deal, saying: "Sejad is a great example for what has been happening at Hoffenheim.
"He has continued to improve from the regional league to the Bundesliga and has become an integral part of our team."
