Blackburn are keeping tabs on defender Tore Reginiussen, according to reports in Norway.
The highly-rated 22-year-old has impressed at club level for Tromso in recent months and has also broken into the Norwegian national team.
Blackburn are understood to be leading the chase but, for now, Reginiussen is staying focused on Tromso.
"We will see what happens after the season. I won't consider any trials," Reginiussen told Nordlys.
Tromso goalkeeper Sead Ramovic is also reported to be attracting attention from a number of clubs.
Several Premier League sides are believed to have watched Ramovic in action, while Birmingham have also been linked with a move for the Bosnian.
Ramovic said: "I am concentrating on Tromso and we will see what happens next week.
"I like to keep all options open. Nothing is settled yet and I do not wish to talk about new clubs until after the season."
