Borussia Monchengladbach have offered midfielder Alexander Baumjohann a new deal to stay with the German giants.
The 21-year-old, who had been told to look for a new club in the summer, starred in the Foals' surprise victory over Werder Bremen last Saturday and the midfielder is now set to be rewarded for his recent efforts.
"He has received a new offer from us," Gladbach sport director Christian Ziege told Kicker.
"He put himself in the spotlight throughout pre-season training and has now taken his chance.
"We always knew that he was a good player and he has shown that now.
"But Alexander has now also managed to incorporate the necessary level of seriousness."
