Bayern Munich's Valerian Ismael will join Hannover during the winter transfer window. The former Crystal Palace flop completed the deal on Wednesday after passing a medical at the AWD Arena. The ambitious Reds, who are currently pushing for a European qualification spot in the Bundesliga, have given the defender a contract until 2010. The Frenchman's career has been plagued by injuries since his €8 million move to Bayern from Werder Bremen in 2005. He has not made a single appearance for the league leaders so far this season, and Ottmar Hitzfeld has made it clear that he is surplus to requirements. No details as to the fee involved for the player have been released.
