Schalke striker Soren Larsen is confident he will soon make his injury comeback.
The 26-year-old has been sidelined since mid-August after a training ground collision with goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
However, Larsen returned to training on Tuesday and the Danish international believes he will soon be back in first-team action.
"Everything went really well," Larsen told Schalke's official website.
"I want to start training everyday to get back my fitness and my form and find my rhythm again.
"I have had no problems with my muscles. I do still feel a bit of pain when going into tackles but that's something I can overcome."
Larsen also failed to rule out the possibility of making an appearance against Bayern Munich on Saturday.
"I know I won't be in the starting line-up, but if the coach needs me for a goal then I would love to take my place in the bench," he concluded.
