Eintracht Frankfurt beat Hansa Rostock while Schalke held ten-man Wolfsburg on Sunday.
The win maintains Eintracht's unbeaten start to the campaign, moving them onto seven points in the process.
Elsewhere, Schalke snatched a late point against ten-man Wolfsburg at the VW Arena.
Things looked good at half-time with Jacek Krzynowek giving the home side a 36th minute lead.
However, Juan Carlos Menseguez's second yellow card shortly after the interval opened the door for the visitors.
With just four minutes left Halil Altintop popped up to give Schalke a late draw.
