Siena president Paolo De Luca has stated Brazilian playmaker Rodrigo Taddei will not be moving to Serie A giants Juventus in January.

A deal, with experienced defender Mark Iuliano arriving in exchange, was mooted as a possible scenario come the New Year.

However, De Luca has denied that Taddei will be heading to Stadio Delle Alpi next month and that out-of-favour Iuliano will join in return.

The Tuscany side's supremo is to speak with Siena coach Gigi Simoni and if all goes to plan then Taddei will not depart when the window opens.

"Taddei moving to Juve and Iuliano coming to Siena? It isn't true. If Gigi Simoni agrees, Taddei will stay at Siena until the end of the season," said De Luca.
