Valeri Bojinov has revealed that he shunned the chance to join Spanish giants Sevilla.
The 24-year-old has just sealed a deal to return to Parma, where he spent the whole of last season on loan.
Bojinov departed Manchester City after Parma agreed terms to sign him.
But the Bulgarian international revealed that he could have moved to Spain.
"It always looks tempting to play in the Champions League and Sevilla said they're searching for Luis Fabiano's replacement," Bojinov said.
"But at this stage I'm really happy to be a Parma player and in two or three years I could play in the Champions League too."
