Parma have suffered a major injury blow with the news that talented young defender Daniele Bonera could be out for two months.
The 22-year-old Italian has fractured a bone in his foot during the club's 4-0 defeat at the hands of Juventus on Sunday.
Bonera limped out of the action at Stadio Delle Alpi after just 38 minutes following an awkward fall, and tests have revealed a bone fracture.
The exact length of time of his recovery is not yet known but it is believed he will need two months to recover.
Bonera hopes to be back in time for the club's Uefa Cup third round tie with Turkish side Genclerbirligi in February.
