Serie A side Chievo have announced the signing of Greece international Nikolaos Spyropoulos from Panathinaikos.
The defender, who has been capped 31 times by his country, joins the Flying Donkeys on a permanent deal after making 166 appearances for Panathinaikos.
He won the Greek league and cup double in 2010, and will go straight into Chievo manager Eugenio Corini's first team plans.
"Italy is a big opportunity," said the 29-year-old. "I thank Chievo for the faith.
"I was born as a defender, but can also play in other positions and I'd like to be involved in an attacking sense too."
Chievo currently sit in 11th place in Serie A, ten points ahead of the relegation zone.
