Marseille were already assured of their place in the next round, but a 2-1 win at home against Bucharest made sure of top spot in the group.

Bostjan Cesar and Jose Delfim put the hosts well in control at half time, and Claudiu Niculescu's reply was not enough for the Romanians.

Levski were also assured of their passage to the next round, but they still took the lead at Heerenveen through Miroslav Ivanov's 52nd minute strike.

However, the Dutch side drew level with a goal from Georgios Samaras just two minutes later, and it was Andre Hanssen who struck in the final minute to send the Dutch through in third place, while a heartbroken Dinamo bowed out.
