GIUSEPPE SCULLI has revealed he is happy to form part of the deal which has taken Chievo Verona defender Nicola Legrottaglie to Juventus.

Legrottaglie has signed for the Italian champions and, among the finer details of the deal, Chievo have taken joint-ownership of Sculli.

The highly-rated forward only arrived at Stadio Delle Alpi on a permanent basis a few weeks ago after spending last term with Modena.

He had initially been expected to challenge for a first-team spot under Marcello Lippi but has been shipped back out again.

Sculli insists he has no problem in joining The Flying Donkeys and is determined to make his mark with the Serie A side.

"I'm happy with this transfer," stated Sculli. "Chievo are a prestigious team and they have a very good coach.

"They play an interesting type of football and they are still on the upgrade. Let's hope this will give me luck.

"I spoke with Luciano Moggi a few days ago and I knew there was this possibility.

"I am going to a big team and, for me, at this moment, the most important thing is finding space to show my value. I hope to do good things, better than in Modena."
