Catania are determined to hang on to coach Vincenzo Montella following continued speculation regarding a return to Roma.
Former Italy international Montella previously spent a spell in caretaker charge at Roma and has been linked with a move back to Stadio Olimpico.
Luis Enrique recently confirmed he would not be staying at the helm next season, and reports have claimed Roma will offer Montella a two-year deal with an option for a third year.
However, Catania president Antonino Pulvirenti has sought to quash any uncertainty over Montella's future by insisting he will stay at the club next term.
"Montella is our coach and he is under contract until next year," Pulvirenti said to Gazzetta dello Sport. "I hope I have been very clear."
Montella guided Roma to sixth spot in Serie A in the 2010/11 season, having taken over as caretaker boss in the February, but was not offered a contract extension to stay on.
He joined Catania last summer and led them to a respectable 11th-placed finish this season, while Roma ended the campaign outside of the European places in seventh.
