Bolton have confirmed that Blerim Dzemaili has joined Italian side Torino for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old joined Il Toro initially on loan at the beginning of last season and despite their relegation to Serie B the club have decided to make the deal permanent.
The Switzerland international found first-team opportunities at the Reebok Stadium hard to come by following his arrival from FC Zurich in summer 2007.
A serious knee injury restricted the midfielder to just one appearance in his debut campaign - a substitute outing in the FA Cup against Sheffield United in January 2008.
Despite figuring on a regular basis in Italy over the past year, Dzemaili returned to Bolton to find new faces such as Mark Davies and Fabrice Muamba blocking his path into the starting XI.
Therefore it was decided in the best interests of both parties that the player move on.
