Champions Juventus broke AC Milan's record of 42 matches unbeaten and finished the campaign undefeated after a final day 3-1 win over Atalanta. Juventus icon Alessandro Del Piero marked his final game for the club with a goal on an emotional afternoon for the forward Juve got off to a flying start with Luca Marrone firing the home side in front after just ten minutes. Del Piero doubled the lead on 28 minutes with a shot from the edge of the box to send the home fans into raptures. Atalanta were gifted a goal seven minutes from time when Stephan Lichsteiner put through his own net, but Andrea Barzagli made the game safe in stoppage-time when he scored from the penalty spot after Marco Borriello was felled in the box by Thomas Manfredini.

Filippo Inzaghi's late goal earned AC Milan a 2-1 win over relegated Novara at the San Siro as the veteran striker marked his last game for the Rossoneri in style. Novara shocked the home crowd when Santiago Garcia gave them the lead after 20 minutes, but substitute Mathieu Flamini drew Milan level on 56 minutes. Inzaghi came off the bench to grab the winner eight minutes from time after being put through on goal by Clarence Seedorf, who was also making his last appearance for Milan. Udinese bagged the final UEFA Champions League spot with a 2-0 victory at Catania, who finished in mid-table. Antonio Di Natale and Diego Fabbrini scored either side of half-time for the Bianconeri to seal third place, seeing off competition from Lazio and Napoli. Lazio were forced to settle for fourth and a spot in the Europa League despite coming from behind to beat Inter Milan 3-1 as the Nerazzurri finished sixth. Diego Milito put the visitors ahead from the spot on the stroke of half-time in Rome but the hosts came back through substitute Libor Kozak, Antonio Candreva and Stefano Mauri after the break. Napoli triumphed 2-1 over Siena thanks to a brace from Andrea Dossena, with Mattia Destro getting on the scoresheet for the visitors early on. Lecce's relegation was confirmed after they were beaten 1-0 at Chievo, with Kamil Vacek sealing their fate with a 78th-minute strike. Genoa put their own safety beyond doubt with a 2-0 victory at home to Palermo, with Alberto Gilardino and Giuseppe Sculli firing home to ensure they finished outside the drop zone.

Roma coach Luis Enrique celebrated his last game in charge with victory over Cesena. Simone Del Nero scored for the hosts in the ninth minute only for Bojan Krkic to equalise before the half-hour mark. Erik Lamela put Roma in front for the first time in the 32nd minute and team-mate Daniele De Rossi made it 3-1 four minutes into the second half. Mario Santana gave Cesena a late lifeline, but Roma held on for their 15th win of the campaign to finish seventh in the table, level on 56 points with Parma. Parma clinched a club-record seventh consecutive win with a 1-0 victory over Bologna at a packed Ennio Tardini stadium. A goal from Jonathan Biabiany in the 37th minute gave the Gialloblu a perfect end to the season and sealed an eighth-place finish for Roberto Donadoni's men. Fiorentina ended the campaign with a goalless draw at home to Cagliari.
