Siena striker Enrico Chiesa has signed a new two-year deal at the club.
Chiesa's previous contract was due to expire at the end of the month and the club have moved to tie him down to a new long-term deal.
The former Italian international is thought to have taken a drop in wages to extend his stay at Stadio Franchi.
Chiesa netted 11 goals for Siena last season as they just about avoided relegation.
The ex-Sampdoria, Parma and Fiorentina man has been at Siena the last three years after joining in the summer of 2003.
