Siena have announced that they will extend the contract of veteran striker Enrico Chiesa until 2006.The former Lazio striker's contract was due to expire in June, but his form this season has convinced president Paolo De Luca that he is worth a further year.
Chiesa has scored nine times this season for a Siena side that currently sit five points off the bottom of Serie A.
The 34-year-old joined the Tuscan side on a free transfer in July 2003 and has scored a total of 19 goals in his time at the Artemio Franchi.
