Livorno midfielder Stefano Morrone and coach Roberto Donadoni are eagerly anticipating Wednesday's clash with Milan.

The Tuscan side are in bullish mood after beating Palermo 2-0 at the weekend to keep fifth spot in the Serie A table.

"I've felt really good here at Palermo in the past and I've been happy for how the people welcomed me," explained Morrone after the victory in Sicily.

"It has been a hard match but I think we deserved the win.

"We know Palermo are a strong side, but we knew they could risk tiredness after the Uefa Cup match they played during the week.

"The Champions League? On Wednesday, we will face Milan, then we will see."

Donadoni is also refusing to get carried away as he prepares his team to face the club where he won so many trophies.

"The league table situation allows us to work with tranquility," said the former Italy midfielder.

"Now we must continue on this way, working with continuity.

"There aren't any secrets.

"Players do on the pitch what they are able to do.

"On Wednesday against Milan, we will play to our possibilities."
