Deportivo La Coruna have sent recent signing Antonio Tomas back to former club Racing Santander on loan.
The young midfielder, 21, arrived at the Riazor as part of the deal that saw Israeli international goalkeeper Dudu Aouate join Depor from Racing.
The youngster has recently recovered from appendicitis and has only just begun his pre-season schedule.
Depor boss Joaquin Caparros believes he currently has enough midfield options at his disposal and has now granted Tomas the chance to re-join Racing on loan.
The starlet enjoyed a fine campaign last season with Racing and will be hoping to build on his growing reputation and convince Caparros he has a long-term future at Depor.
Meanwhile, Depor have signed another promising youngster, this time raiding Villarreal for Carlos Alcantara.
The 21-year-old left back is likely to alternate between the Depor's first and second teams this term but is looking forward to the challenge of establishing himself.
"One of the main reasons I came here is that there are not many left-sided players and I want to learn from (Joan) Capdevila, work hard and try to win a place in the first team," he explained.
One player Depor are still looking to offload is Lionel Scaloni who spent the second half of last season on loan at West Ham.
The latest club to show an interest in the Argentine international is Marseille, with the player having been informed he has no future at the Riazor.
