Juventus are reported to have targeted Sampdoria winger Aimo Diana as Fabio Capello seeks to add the finishing touches to his all-conquering squad.
Having failed to land Bayern Munich's Willy Sagnol, the Bianconeri are believed to have switched their sights to Diana with a view to a possible summer transfer.
Samp would be loath to lose one of their prize assets but a sizeable enough bid from Juve may tempt Walter Novellino's side to cash in on the former Parma man.
Juve may also offer Marcelo Zalayeta or Fabrizio Miccoli as a makeweight in any deal for the 28-year-old, who has scored six goals in 18 starts this term.
