Udinese defender Danilo has expressed his delight after signing a new contract to stay with the Serie A club until 2018.
The Brazilian joined Udinese from Palmeiras two years ago and he has forged a reputation as one of the best defenders in the Italian top flight.
He is happy to have been handed an extension and is enjoying his time with Francesco Guidolin's side.
"It's a great satisfaction for me," the 29-year-old told the club's official website. "
"This club always aims high in Italy and in European competitions, and I'm glad to be able to continue playing here.
"I feel important here and to the coach. This club has entered my heart and I want to give continuity to this project."
