Udinese have suffered a double injury blow with Mauricio Isla and Antonio Di Natale facing lengthy spells on the sidelines..
Chile midfielder Isla's season could be over after scans showed he suffered cruciate knee ligament damage in Saturday's defeat to AC Milan, while Di Natale fractured his foot.
Isla had to be stretchered off after a clash with AC Milan's Massimo Ambrosini and it looks likely he will be sidelined for six months.
Udinese are waiting to find out the extent of Di Natale's injury and how long the striker could be out of action for
An Udinese statement read: "Isla has sprained his right knee with a lesion to the collateral lateral ligament and damage for the anterior cruciate ligament. The entity of the damage will be evaluated more accurately over the next few days.
"Di Natale suffered a micro-fracture of the second toe in his right foot. The player will have to rest for a few days.
"The treatment programme will be worked out on the basis of his recovery."
