Chilean ace unlikely to leave in January

Mauricio Isla's agent doubts whether his client will be leaving Serie A club Udinese during the January transfer window. Russian outfit Lokomotiv Moscow are reportedly in the hunt for the 22-year-old Chilean midfielder. Isla's agent Leonardo Rodriguez also believes there are clubs from England tracking his client, although he has refused to name names. However, it seems that Isla is unlikely to leave Udinese this month regardless as the club's owners are not looking to cash in.

Interest

"I can confirm that Lokomotiv are very interested in Mauricio Isla and that recently also some English clubs have asked about him," explained Rodriguez. "However, I doubt that Mauricio will be able to leave Udinese at the moment as the owners don't want to sell anyone. "The Pozzo family doesn't want to let anyone go so personally I think it's going to be difficult for Mauricio to leave. "If depends on Udinese and whether they'd let him go now or in June."
