Ghana forward Asamoah Gyan is free to play in the African Cup of Nations opener on Sunday.
Gyan was sent off in his last competitive international, Ghana's 3-0 defeat to Brazil in the second round of the World Cup.
The Black Stars have played only friendlies over the last 18 months as they qualified automatically for the African Cup of Nations as hosts.
However, the Confederation of African Football has said it has received no notification from world governing body Fifa over any suspension.
Gyan is therefore available to play in the game against Guinea in Accra.
Morocco and Namibia are Ghana's other two competitors in Group A.
