Pozzo: Cosmi's safe for now

Udinese's increasingly beleaguered coach Serse Cosmi's job is not.

Udinese's increasingly beleaguered coach Serse Cosmi continues to enjoy the support of the Serie A club's board insists president Giampaolo Pozzo.

Udinese slipped to another defeat on Sunday losing 4-1 to Roma and the knives appear to be out for the coach.

But Pozzo is prepared to reserve judgement on Cosmi's future, at least, until the Italian has a fully-fit squad at his disposal.

"I suspend each judgment over him. The team are struggling but we must wait for the return of the injured players before making any decision," said Pozzo.

Pozzo was scathing in his criticism of player Giampiero Pinzi, however, who received his marching orders for retaliation in the first half on Sunday.

"Pinzi's behaviour has been absolutely despicable because he started complaining from the first minute, despite being aware of the match's importance," added Pozzo.
