Fiorentina fans have received good news with striker Mario Gomez ready to come back after recovering from a right knee injury.
The Germany international picked up the problem in Fiorentina's 1-1 draw with Cagliari on September 15.
A statement from Fiorentina read: "Mario Gomez has recovered."
Orthopaedic and diagnostic tests done on Gomez by doctor Francesco Giron revealed that the striker has made a complete recovery from the Grade II medial collateral ligament tear in his right knee.
"The Germany forward will therefore gradually begin training again with the rest of the squad."
Gomez could feature in Fiorentina's home game against Hellas Verona on December 2.
The 28-year-old, who joined the Viola this summer from Bayern Munich, has scored two goals in three league appearances for the Florence outfit this season.
Fiorentina are fifth in Serie A and take on Udinese at the Friuli stadium this weekend.
