Zenit St Petersburg defender Domenico Criscito's agent is adamant the Italian will stay in Russia despite interest from Tottenham and Fiorentina.

The 26-year-old is currently recovering from knee ligament damage and has impressed since moving to Zenit from Genoa back in 2011.

But agent Andrea D'Amico insists that the full-back will remain at his current club, and rubbished reports of a move elsewhere.

"Those who have linked Croscito with Fiorentina have only spread rumours which are without foundation," D'Amico told Lady Radio.

"There is no truth in them whatsoever. Domenico will continue his experience in Russia, where he is very happy."

Another player La Viola are keen on is Josip Ilicic from relegated Palermo, but he will cost £15million according director Giorgio Perinetti.

"The player has always made it clear that he would favour a move to Fiorentina, because he really likes the way they play football," Perinetti told Sport Italia.

"He has great potential, even if he can be a little inconsistent. We're asking for €15m."

However one deal which doesn't look likely to happen is the permanent transfer of Emiliano Viviano after one season on-loan from Palermo, with La Viola not taking up the option to sign him.

"Viviano is an amazing guy and I feel great affection for him," Fiorentina CEO Sandro Mencucci told Radio Blu Toscana.

"But then there are economic situations that will lead him far from Florence."

And finally, La Viola look set seal the capture of Joaquin from Malaga, with the player heading to Florence for a medical before finalising the move.
