Fiorentina president Andrea Della Valle hopes to keep striker Stevan Jovetic at the club until the end of the season and maybe beyond.
Della Valle also reflected on Fiorentina missing out on former Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov. The Bulgarian flew to Italy for a medical ahead of a proposed deal to move to the Florence-based club in August, but snubbed them in favour of talking to Juventus, before eventually opting for Fulham. "Berbatov? It's still an open wound for us," added Della Valle. "He didn't come and we took Luca Toni, who is doing well, so I have to thank him."
