Reds midfielder could move to Florence

Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani could be set for a summer move to Fiorentina, according to his agent. The midfielder spent this season on loan at AC Milan and the Rossoneri have indicated that they may not be prepared to take up their option on the 27-year-old. Aquilani had been close to joining the Viola last summer, but agent Franco Zavaglia blamed former director of sport at Fiorentina Pantaleo Corvino for the collapse of the deal. However, Corvino has since been replaced by Daniele Prade at the Stadio Artemio Franchi and Zavaglia now claims a deal could be back on. "The new directors Eduardo Macia and Prade respect him a great deal and we're waiting to talk to Liverpool," Zavaglia told Radio Blu. "We'll see what happens. He said no to Fiorentina last year because of Pantaleo Corvino, but with Prade it would be another matter."
