Boateng and Ambrosini sustained injuries at Camp Nou

AC Milan will face Napoli with a decimated squad at the weekend after Kevin-Prince Boateng and Massimo Ambrosini picked up knocks against Barcelona. The Rossoneri snatched a 2-2 draw at Camp Nou in their UEFA Champions League opener on Tuesday night but also suffered a series of fitness problems. A statement on the club's official website has confirmed that Boateng's x-rays have come back clear, meaning there are no fractures to his ribs. However, the muscular problem on his torso is still bothering the midfielder and keeping him on the sidelines. Meanwhile, Ambrosini underwent tests on Wednesday, the results of which showed he has dislocated his right shoulder. The statement read: "His return to football is expected in three to four weeks, excluding complications." The news strikes a double blow ahead of the impending trip to Napoli on Sunday, particularly since Zlatan Ibrahimovic is also likely to be out of action after suffering a thigh injury in training on Monday. Robinho was another absentee from the Barca encounter with a groin problem, while Gennaro Gattuso also remains in doubt for the weekend.
