Fiorentina goalkeeper Bogdan Lobont has returned to his homeland to join Dinamo Bucharest on a three-year deal.
The former Ajax shot-stopper failed to make a single appearance in Serie A this season whilst acting as Sebastien Frey's understudy and has now decided to try his luck back in Romania.
Dinamo have reportedly paid around é¼750,000 (£495,000) to secure the signature of the player who first played for the club during a loan spell in the 2001-2002 season.
Lobont has also played for city rivals Rapid Bucharest in the past and is now hoping to reignite his club and international career after returning to the Romanian capital.
His struggles at Fiorentina cost the 29-year-old the number one jersey for his country, and the battle will now be on with Rapid's number one Danut Coman.
