The 31-year-old's current deal expires at the end of the season, but the Dane is keen to extend his stay at the Artemio Franchi.
Fiorentina are understood to be considering a two-year extension.
"I am happy and pleased at Fiorentina," Jorgensen told BT.
"I believe there will be an extension for a couple of years."
